The special educator is responsible for the oversight and some instruction within our in-house therapeutic program. The special educator is responsible for delivery of some grade-level curriculum, remedial curriculum and for differentiating instruction. Familiarity with standard-based education and mastery of technology skills are required. Knowledge of the IEP process and case management is a must. The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively with students, parents, colleagues and community members. An appropriate DESE license, bachelor's degree are required, a master's degree is preferred.
This is a long term substitute position from November 18, 2019 through February 21, 2020.
Salary: $217 per day
