Sanborn Regional High School anticipates the need for a certified English teacher for a full time position for 8 weeks in the 2018-2019 school year, approximately the months of October and November. The ideal candidate would have experience with competency education and a strong desire to collaborate with their colleagues in a Professional Learning Community (PLC) model. Experience using assessment data to drive decision-making and develop, implement, and analyze common quality performance assessments with their PLC team is essential. Sanborn is looking for a teacher who is committed to instruction that challenges students to apply their literacy and communication skills and perseverance in all content areas. Experience in an interdisciplinary / team-based model is preferred.

Sanborn Regional High School is located in Kingston, New Hampshire and services students in grades nine through twelve from the communities of Kingston, Newton, and Fremont New Hampshire. The school moved into a new state-of-the-art building in 2006. In recent years, the school has been recognized locally and nationally as a leader in the competency-based grading and reporting movement. In 2015, the school was awarded the prestigious Larry O'Toole Award from the Nellie Mae Education Foundation for its innovative and ground-breaking work in personalized learning. In 2018, the school was recognized with the New Hampshire Excellence in Education "EDies" Award.
